• Dip the end of a cotton swab into paint for an excellent dot-making tool. The harder you press the swab on the paint surface, the larger the dot.

• Cover the inside of a roller pan with aluminum foil for a quick, easy and cleanup -friendly liner.

• Create a distressed paint finish by rubbing a candle or paste wax over certain areas of a wood surface prior to coating it with a new layer of paint. Scrape off the wax with a chisel or rub it off with sandpaper to reveal the underlying colors.
